Due to rapidly increased global warming, the end of combustion engines is approaching much faster than anybody anticipated. Consequently, the automotive industry is changing to manufacturing Electrical Vehicles (EVs), or Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEVs) in an unprecedented pace.
To guarantee the quality in machining of components for EVs and ZEVs, all 6 sides must be machined in one setup, with a system capable of handling inconsistent shapes and forms.

The airplane development towards lighter planes has not been driven by the global warming until recently, but by the high cost of fuel. The way the industry has achieved lighter planes is by using carbon fiber in fuselages and wing elements.
However, complex structural parts like ribs, stringers and frames (Prismatic Parts) has not developed at all during the last 50 years, and the material stress problems are the same today as 50 years ago.
